Orders and your contract

When you place an order you make an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you our order confirmation email. We may decline an order — for example in the case of an obvious pricing error — in which case we will refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are charged in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT. Amounts shown in other currencies are approximate. Delivery charges are shown before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe or PayPal.

Printed books

Our printed books are made to order and usually dispatch within 3–5 working days. See our Shipping & Returns policy for delivery times and costs.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel an order for printed books within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. See Shipping & Returns for details.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable or for business losses.

All content on this site — text, covers, design and logos — belongs to North Wind Press Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
